In order to understand the interaction of fields with nanoscale objects, we developed very useful programs to analyze field distributions around these objects. Used in conjunction with REMCOM's FDTD software for a parallel computational cluster, our developed software allows us to design the proper shapes to create with Yee cells in a 3D workspace with the proper material parameters.

(upper right) Two dimensional plots of the Reflectance, Transmittance and Field enhancement as a function of the incident angle for a Kreschmann Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) Geometry (Glass/Au/Air), (lower) 3D view of the SPR Reflectance curve as a function of Au thickness and angle.
(lower left) 3D Electromagnetic Field distributions for a dipole computation. This software was developed for the evaluation of fields around nanoscale objects being affected by incident fields.
(lower right) Optical constant graphs from 200 to 2000 nm for many materials, a necessary component for the other graphs.
